Admission Criteria

Applications are reviewed individually and holistically. First and foremost, applicants must be prepared academically for college overall and for the College of Technology specifically. Purdue considers the following factors: high school course expectations; overall grades in academic coursework; grades related to choice of major; strength of high school curriculum; trends in achievement; class rank; overall GPA; core subject GPA; SAT or ACT scores; personal statement; ability to be successful in intended major; personal background and experiences; information provided by HS guidance counselor or school administrator; time of year the student applies; and space availability in intended major. All applicants must graduate from high school or have a GED and Indiana residents are given preference.
