New Students
Students who have never attended a post-secondary institution must be admitted to Purdue University before they can register for classes with the Purdue University College of Technology at South Bend/Elkhart. See the admissions page for criteria to be admitted.
Once new students have been formally admitted, they must take a math and English placement exam. For dates and times go to http://www.iusb.edu/~stusvcs/exams.shtml. New students may register for classes after the results of the exams are sent to the Purdue University College of Technology at South Bend/Elkhart office. New students must make an appointment with the student services coordinator prior to registering for classes.
