DST Time Zone Change for Laptops –Windows XP
Start Menu – Settings - Control Panel
Click Date and Time 
Time Zone Tab
Switch to (GMT-05:00) Eastern (US & Canada)
Make sure the box is selected for “Automatically adjust clock for daylight savings changes”.
Click OK
