Jessica Joya is currently employed as a Student Success Specialist within the Department of Computer and Information Technology at Purdue University’s Polytechnic Institute. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University and has further advanced her education by attaining a Master's degree in Higher Education, specialized in Student Affairs, from Purdue University Global. Drawing from her unique perspective as a first-generation student and her professional background in social work, Jessica is dedicated to facilitating student success through comprehensive engagement, educational growth, and goal attainment.
In her role, Jessica actively works to provide invaluable support to students, ensuring their seamless navigation through academic challenges and personal growth. Her commitment to fostering a conducive learning environment is informed by her own experiences and a deep understanding of the diverse needs of today's students. Beyond her professional pursuits, Jessica enjoys spending time with her daughter, Lilliana, and their two Golden Retrievers.
